With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, James Parker Kaiser II, who departed this life peacefully in his sleep. He was born in 1951 and has now reunited with his loving wife, Donna, in heaven, along with his parents, his brother, and his grandchild, Parker.
Jim was many things to many different people—a healer, a teacher, a confidant, and the biggest cheerleader for all of our accomplishments big and small. He was an unwavering example of persistence, always looking toward the future and never giving up, no matter the challenges he faced. Even as his health declined, he endured with strength and optimism, fighting the good fight and finishing the course.
A man of deep wisdom and an endless well of brilliant ideas—many ahead of his time—he was an innovator who created technologies that helped countless people. His passion for holistic health, spirituality, and self-discovery guided his life’s work, and he shared his insights in his book, Cracking the Inner Code. As a master of Tai Chi, he understood the balance of mind, body, and spirit, and he dedicated his life to helping others find their own paths to healing and growth. As a lifelong seeker of truth, he carried a spirit of boundless optimism, believing in the potential of every person he met.
Beyond his wisdom and teachings, Jim had a vibrant, playful side. He was known for always having a funny mask at Halloween, a bold and colorful necktie at church, and a joyful presence wherever he went. His sense of humor and ability to find joy in life made him unforgettable.
Above all, he cherished his family. Being a grandfather was one of his greatest joys, and his love and guidance will live on through his children—Jimmy, Helena, Amber, Chantel, and David—his daughters and sons in law—Annie, Kurt, Dave, Michael and Caitlin— and his treasured grandchildren: Syndil, Leo, August, Elowen, Arbor, Sage, Milo, Eli, Felix, Emeric, Lennox, Lachlan, Tavian and Wrenly. His sister, Nancy, also survives him, along with many dear friends and those he mentored throughout his life. With his natural talent of making those he met feel a deep connection, he leaves behind not just his immediate family, but a host of people who considered him a part of their own.
He lived by the belief that “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” and carried that philosophy in every challenge he faced. His resilience, kindness, and unshakable belief in the good will forever be a part of those who knew him.
We invite you to attend his viewing at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 6651 Scott St, Allendale, MI 49401, on February 16th from 2-4:30pm, and a celebration of his life which will be held at the same location on February 17th at 1:00pm. The burial will immediately follow.

Rest easy, Dad. Your light will never fade
