The Herr was simply one of the most gracious people I have ever had the pleasure to know. From his immediate willingness to allow Jim VV and I to borrow his car on a trip with his boys to Williamsport, PA, to his boisterous welcome whenever we rolled into the Kettner place in Florida, he displayed the kind of personal friendship that all people should strive to achieve. Heaven will be just a bit better with his presence. Regards and sympathies to Arn, Judy, Bode, Arg, and Arlene.
