James Richard Messer Sr.

January 18, 1930 ~ February 4, 2022

James Richard Messer Sr., age 92, of Wyoming, passed away at home on Friday, February 4, 2022, surrounded by his family. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian; son, Robert John Messer. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Roberta and Robert Ward, James and Sandra Messer Jr; grandchildren: Steven Spaulding, William and Katie Spaulding, Andrew Spaulding, Jody Piper, LJ and Noah Messer-Betz, Robert James Messer; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Roberta and Jimmy - I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing! Oh! The memories I have of growing up on Whiting Street with you guys. The Messers - The Frye's, The Barksdales and The Huffmans! What a great childhood we had and what wonderful parents we all had as well. I love your mom and dad and all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
