Janet Yvonne Drummond

Janet Yvonne Drummond, age 84, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2022, surrounded by her family. Janet was born and raised in Sparta, Michigan at Camp Lake. She worked as a press operator for the Grand Rapids Press. Her favorite pastimes included playing bingo, taking bus trips to the casino, and camping with family and friends. She cherished spending time with her family and many grandchildren, whether hosting parties, going on trips to parades, or playing games together. Janet was a member of Community Christian Reformed Church. She will be greatly missed for her friendship, caring heart, warm hugs, and love for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Nina Kelley; husband, Cecil Drummond; daughter, Tracy Mack; grandson, Robert Price; brother, John “Jack” Kelley. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Cecil Drummond Jr.; daughters, Mary Mayhue, Penny (Tom) Claussen, Patricia (James Gordon) Coleman; son-in-law, Billy Mack; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann (Wally) Moore; three nieces, and a nephew. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22 at 1 pm at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, with Rev. Jessica Maddox officiating. Burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family for visitation prior to the service from 12-1 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Hospice.
