Jean Ann Bivens, age 62, of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, April 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Gertrude VanderHeuvel. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 26 years, Charles James Bivens; her children: Violet Bivens, Sharlie Bivens, C.J. Bivens, Melody VanderHeide, Tabitha VanderHeide; her grandchildren: Haily VanderHeide, Christian Zamarripa, Marlo Robles, Esella-Rose Hernandez, Brennan and Vreana. Jean was a warm, loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active woman who enjoyed gardening, decorating, shopping, sewing, knitting, and cooking. She also enjoyed bike riding on Mackinac Island. Her most enjoyable activity was spending time with her kids and grandchildren. Jean liked to go out to eat and doing make up with the kids. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Pat Binish officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 10 to 11:45 at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to World Vision.
