Jeremiah Stephen Parker

July 8, 2022 ~ September 20, 2022

Jeremiah Stephen Parker was born on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 9:17 p.m. to parents, Andre and Sarah Parker, at Butterworth Hospital of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Jeremiah was transferred to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital shortly after his birth for a known congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He received extensive medical care by the loving medical staff at Helen DeVos. During Jeremiah’s brief visit on earth, he experienced holding hands with Mom and Dad, hugs and kisses from his family, listening to music, and being held and rocked when able. He was loved by all who met him, was a strong and brave fighter, and will be greatly missed. Jeremiah passed gently into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Jeremiah is deeply loved and survived by his dad and mom; big brother, Emmett; sisters, Avery and Madilynn; his grandparents, Rich and Joy Schultz, Randy and Carolyn Parker; great-grandparents, Rich and Sharon Schultz; and many aunts and uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Alan and Sarah Curtis, Maynard Kota, Paul and Catherine Minarovic, Marilyn Parker; and great-uncle, Stephen Minarovic.

Perhaps they are not really stars in the sky but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy- Eskimo legend It was one of the greatest privileges of my life to be a small part of Jeremiah’s life…love and peace to you

There are no word that can take away the heart ache and pain of losing a child, my prayers are with you and your family as you move forward. Jeremiah is a beautiful angel praying and hugs to you and your family.
