Dear Family Haaksma, my condolances with the loss of John, my american cousin. I still have nice memories of him, when I visited the family long time ago. Wishing all relatives and friends the best and comfort for the coming times.

We are so sorry for your loss. Although my interactions with John were brief, he was a gentle man and had a positive light about him. Kris, you shared many lovely thoughts of your Dad over the years I have known you- one of which was his love of gardening. I am overjoyed to have two of his Rose of Sharon offsprings, as they are so beautiful. Praying for God’s peace and strength in all of you. Isaiah 41:10

John and Mary welcomed us to the neighborhood when we moved across the street in 2011. They were always great neighbors. I will miss my talks with John about sports and the stock market. You would always find John being the first one out to shovel his drive. He was an avid gardener, giving away his tomatoes and peppers. He will be deeply missed. Prayers to Mary and all the family. God Bless Sean and Paula Farrow
