John "Jack" Longbrake

Longbrake – John “Jack” M. Longbrake aged 92 of Kentwood passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021. John was preceded in death by his parents, Hallas and Ethelda Longbrake. John is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty; children, Paul Longbrake, Michael Longbrake; Susan (Tom) Cummins, Lisa (Chuck) Cassiday; grandchildren, Cora, Emmy, John, Matthew, Erica, Shannon, Ryan, Quinten; many great grandchildren; sister, Helen Seitz; sister-n-law, Margaret Hayes; several nephews; special family member, Eileen Longbrake. John was a Korean War Veteran and retired from General Motors. Jack was happiest when he was surrounded by his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will greet relatives and friends 10:00AM to 11:00AM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel – Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. Private family services will be held.
