Joyce Koster, age 85, of Grand Rapids, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was born December 8, 1937 in Hudsonville to the late Jacob and Gertrude (Peuler) Schipper. She married Arnold Koster on September 11, 1959. Joyce worked at Pine Rest as an L.P.N. and several nursing homes over the years. She enjoyed camping, crafting and antiquing. She was a member of Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, where she was honored to serve as a Calvinette leader, Vacation Bible School volunteer, and with “The Dock” program. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; son, Jeffery Koster; and daughter-in-law, Jill Koster. Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Audrey (Jim) Jagt and son, Alan Koster. Memorial donations may be made to Faith Hospice.
