Kathleen Marie Sullivan

Kathleen Sullivan, age 95, of  Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024 surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 29, 1929 to the late Herman and Johanna Weber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel; a sister, Joan Weber; in-laws, Maureen (Chuck) Sterling, Leland (Marilyn) Sullivan, and Joan (Robert) Thurston. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mary (Phillip) Brower, Suzanne (Ruben) Ysasi, Thomas (Barbara) Sullivan, Christopher (Sarah) Sullivan; grandchildren, Andrew (Diane) Ysasi, Joseph (Rachel) Ysasi, Richard (Teresa) Ysasi, Michelle (Daniel) Stephenson, Emily (Chad) Potter, Kristen (Craig) Bujold, Sarah (Karl) Anacker, Ryan (Brittany) Sullivan, Adam Brower, Katie Sullivan, Chloe Sullivan, Ethan Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ruben, Austin, Noah, Matthew, Henry, Nicholas, Gabriela, Lucas, Callie, Johnny, Vivian, Estela, Eloise, Landon, Lexie, Kinsie, Jayden, Enzo. She is also survived by her sister, Dolores Weber; nieces and nephews, Jason Thurston, Patrick Sullivan, and Christi Sullivan-Williams. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1048 Chicago Dr. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Charlie Brown presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday, August 28, from 4-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. A rosary service will be held on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Holy Name of Jesus Parish.  The family would like to thank St. Ann’s Home and Emmanuel Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother.
