Margaret Ealy

Margaret "Peg" Ealy, age 66, of Belmont was welcomed into her heavenly home on Tuesday April 15, 2025 with her husband Bob at her side.  Peg devoted her life to teaching and mentoring young people.  She was an elementary teacher for her whole adult career.  Peg was very involved in her church where she taught catechism, Sunday school and served on many committees and used her talents and gifts to serve others.  She also was a Kids Hope mentor and a Stephens Minister.  Peg enjoyed spending time with the love of her life Bob, whom she was married to for 39 years.  Whether it was camping, boating or gardening, Peg was always up for a fun adventure.  First and foremost, Peg loved her family and cherished her time with them. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Banaszak; sister, Chris Renberg; mother in law, Gladys Ealy; and her siblings in law, Shirley Harroun and Ray Ealy. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Bob Ealy; mother, Jackie Banaszak “Banner”; siblings, Russell and Brenda Banaszak, Gerri and Paul Donnelly, Roger and Mari Beth Banaszak, Brett Banaszak; siblings in law, Fred Renberg, Roger Harroun, Martha McPheters-Ealy; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Her memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday May 10th at Orchard Hill Church, 1465 3 Mile Road NW, Grand Rapids, MI with Pastor Bob Karel officiating.  Burial will be held at Blythefield Memory Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday an hour prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Breakthrough T1D.
