Margaret Mary Wysocki, age 95, of Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Margaret began her nursing career in Chicago, where she met a sailor named Eugene, who became the love of her life and husband. She then spent her married years lovingly raising her family with homemade pies and desserts. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and gardening her tomatoes and roses. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; parents, Sylvester and Cecilia Kawka; brothers: George (Mary Ellen), Thomas (Dorothy). She will be lovingly remembered by her children: David Wysocki, Nancy Pomper, Cindy (Steve) Besmer, William Wysocki; grandchildren: Ryan, Rachel (fiancé, Ryan), Hayden (Kayla), Adam (Alanah), and Gillian; several great grandchildren; brother, Rev. Fred Kawka; many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier and Rev. Fred Kawka presiding. Entombment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming, with a rosary service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann’s Home or St. John Vianney Church.
