Marilyn Joyce Rector

RECTOR (DANTUMA), MARILYN JOYCE,
age 86, of Comstock Park, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and also active at her church. Marilyn was known as one who always sent cards to everyone for special days. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 64 years, Allan; children: Bonnie Byers, Brenda and Walter Susemihl, Linda and Robert Paulsen, Julie Rector; grandchildren: Jim, Ben, and Emily Byers, Andrea (Jason) Kuiawa, Kate (Patrick) Wells, Nicole (Jesse) Feldmeyer, Dan (Laura) Paulsen, Heather (Matt) Buckowing, Holly (Josh) Shannon; 9 great grandchildren; sister: Grace Mullennix, brother: Ed and Sandra Dantuma; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Rector; son-in-law, David Byers;

A funeral service will be held at Blythefield Christian Reformed Church, 6350 Kuttshill Dr. NE, Rockford, 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021, with Rev. Henry Admiraal officiating. Relatives and friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
