Mary T. Mol, age 86, of Grand Rapids, MI was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 11, 2021. She was born in Deaver, Wyoming to Leroy and Thenelda Gifford. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Dan Mol; son, Charles Edward Fleming; siblings, Margaret Weaver, Hazel Fleming, Leonard Gifford, and Richard Gifford. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children, William Neal Fleming, Carol Kay Driscoll, Nancy Lee Fleming, Tracy Leroy (Nora) Fleming, Raeleen Jane (Jon) Rose; brother, Ronald (June) Gifford; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Mary was a devoted, loving, caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary was an active woman who was an artist who painted nature, an author who wrote poetry, crocheted, and knitted. She enjoyed gardening, having her hair done weekly, and attending Bible study classes. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.

I so liked living next to Mary. She was so sweet. I loved our silent tomato growing competition to see who can grow a ripe one first. She always won. She always had a fun tale to tell and man she made the BEST apple pies. I’m glad I got to be part of her life!
