Friend and mentor are just a few words that come to mind when thinking of Michael. I met Michael over 20 years ago just starting my career, he was a great friend, leader and mentor. A very funny, kind-hearted guy who whether he knew it or not he touched so many in his journey. He's been pulled away from us much too soon, you are greatly missed. ~Becca

Micheal was a wonderful co-worker and friend. He cared so much for others; his family, friends, colleagues, and customers. He was a great listener and sounding board for problem solving. I never felt like I was intruding or bothering him when I went to him for help. I feel lucky to have know him and learn some of the business I love from him. On this, his 53 birthday, I wish his family well and hope his kids have learned some of his best traits; kindness, empathy, inclusiveness, and warmth. Blessing to you. AMY

Michael was a joy to work with when he spent his time substitute teaching, the children picked up on his love for others and found his happiness relaxing to be around- they all loved having him in the classroom as did I. Rest in peace, Michael! My condolences to your family as they grieve your passing.

Michael was my Grandma’s boss for over 20 years. He knew me since I was a kid & I never thought he’d end up being my boss as well. It was great working with Michael. He was extremely hard working & knowledgeable & always kind. You will be missed Michael! -Nick Berezka

I think Michael loved being a husband and father! I know that both he and Kalen always have been very proud of their boys’, Collin’s and Jack’s, accomplishments and often share pictures and accounts of their experiences on social media. I especially enjoyed seeing what a wonderful relationship he had with them. Personally I’ve known Michael since he was a little boy. We played cars and trucks and visited the little park near his house. Later on when his brother Robert and I had kids, Jim and Marco, he played with them but what I remembered most was his helping us with their Halloween parties. We had a lot going on and greatly appreciated his assistance. I remember the kids loved hanging out with him because of his energy and enthusiasm. Finally I have no better way to end this tribute except that I hope he is at peace now and I know everyone who knew him will certainly miss him.

I'm very thankful that I had the opportunity to work alongside Michael for a few years in Lincolnshire. He was always kind and had a cheerful personality. I wish his family and friends the best during this difficult time.
