Nancy Lee Archer

December 23, 1938 ~ September 3, 2022

Nancy Archer, age 83, of Kentwood passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her.

Nancy grew up in Wyoming, Michigan, and worked at Michigan Bell Telephone/AT&T for over 30 years as a telephone operator for the local 616 exchange. Always full of energy and a great sense of humor, Nancy enjoyed camping with her husband and their dogs. While at home, she enjoyed family and friends, and was an avid gardener who loved going for long rides in the country, going antiquing, and shopping at thrift stores.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Agatha Parcher. She is survived by her husband, James Archer; children, Patrick (Jodi) Piechocki, Matthew (Deb) Piechocki, Jodi (Michael) Wszolek, Julie Weston; sister-in-law, Mary Decker, brother-in-law, John Archer; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Humane Society.

Its been a year since you left us and I miss you more than ever, yet I hear your words almost everyday and I feel your presence when when I'm at the house, when I water your plants and when those moments come when you say to yourself " Mom would've really liked that", you're always with me someway and I'm sure fortunate to have had such a loving Mother as you. So very sorry to hear of the passing of Nancy. She had an uncanny sense of humor and the sweetest smile and laugh. She was always up for a new adventure while we shared a Kenny Chesney CW concert together. A very smart and shrewd shopper - ready anytime to extend her ebay buying advise! Many quiet and creative talents who will be missed by all who touched her heart.
