Norda Jean Tillotson

Norda Jean Tillotson, age 88, of Grand Rapids, was called home to heaven on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Norda much enjoyed spending time with family and friends, serving her church, bowling, and card making. However, Norda’s greatest passion was using her life to point people to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Therefore, when you remember Norda, remember also the words of Jesus in John 11:25: “I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in Me will live even if he dies”.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Philip Tillotson; daughter-in-law, Mary Tillotson; grandson, Sean Tillotson. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Steve Tillotson, Christy and Darren Fordham; grandchildren, Brad and Mary Beth Tillotson, Amy Tillotson, Evan Fordham; great grandchildren, James, and Eleanor Tillotson; several nieces and nephews, many friends and her loving church family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, May 12, 2025, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2727 5 Mile Rd. NE, Grand Raids, with Rev. Eric Black officiating.  Burial will take place at Blythefield Memory Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 am prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Messiah Lutheran Church.
