Pamela Rozanski

July 26, 1962 ~ July 4, 2024

Pamela (Pam) Rozanski, aged 61 (born July 26, 1962), a cherished daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on July 4th, 2024, in her hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her passing follows a valiant battle with complications from a spinal cord injury sustained in February.

Pam was known for her compassionate and gentle heart, always dedicated to serving others. She devoted over 30 years of her career to the Kent County Office of Defenders, and in recent years she found great joy in caring for her beloved clients and family members. Pam was exceptionally talented in creating floral arrangements, crafts, baking, and cooking. She eagerly awaited each Spring for morel mushroom hunts, cherished summer days spent in the water, and embraced the cozy seasons of fall and winter for baking and cooking. Her greatest happiness, however, came from spending time with her grandchildren and children.

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Kurz; stepfather, John Willard; and her brother, Todd Kurz. Pam will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her mother, Elizabeth Willard; daughters, Charley (Clark) Ennis and Kaleigh (Bryan) Simmons; granddaughters, Leighton Simmons and Chandler Ennis; her siblings, Beth (Rob) Moore, Don Kurz,  Denise Kurz, Janine Ottenwess, and Larry (Renee) Teeple, and her many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Faith Hospice Trillium Woods, whose compassion brought comfort during Pam's final journey home.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 9th, from 3-5pm at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont, MI 49306, with a brief service at 3:30pm.

Rest in peace my sweet Pamela! Though my heart breaks for myself it REJOICES in knowing you are, as your song with Kaleigh states, “dancing on the waves”!!! Our last prayer together that morning… O Rock, Fortress of my life, I place myself in your care. Take charge of my future and use me for your glory. In you I take refuge and on your strength I rely to make my days worthwhile. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen. Till we meet again…♥️Janine
