My condolences to the Verburg family. My family and I were friends with Patti and her parents for my entire life as our dads (Jack Proos and Lee Owens) served in Korea together. We’d get together 4 or 5 times a year for as long as I can remember when we were young. We always had a great time whether it was in Grand Rapids or in Plymouth where we lived. Please know in my heart that i am praying for you and your family during these difficult times. Know god is comforting you and your family through my prayers.

Our neighborhood dimmed with the passing of our beloved Patti. She was the best neighbor – kind, caring, and always willing to lend a hand. We will forever cherish memories of her warm hospitality, wonderful baked goods, and radiant smile that could brighten anyone’s day. Though we grieve her loss deeply, we celebrate the lasting impact Patti made through her boundless generosity and compassion. She will be dearly missed. With Love and Fond Memories, Jim and Robbi

My mommy, my everything. It’s been 2581 minutes since you left me….every second has destroyed me. You would be so happy to hear all the good stories and memories that people are sharing. I know your right here with me, beside me, I just wish we could chat together about everything. I don’t know how to do this without you. I love you more than you will ever know. Say hi to grandma for me, I hope you and uncle Jim are enjoying being together again. Xo

My best friend who always had baked potatoes in the oven waiting for me and apple pies just when I needed them. I will never forget how much you meant to me and all the time we spent together. Some people only get one mom, I got two. I hope wherever you are theres a beach, plenty of dogs, somewhere you can put your feet up, all you can drink diet coke and sweet tea forever.
