Robert Arthur Feighner

FEIGHNER – Robert Arthur Feighner, age 96, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Anna Feighner; his wife of 72 years, Ruth Feighner; his brother, Claude Feighner. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his children, Linda and Bruce Flater and Robert E. and Nancy A. Feighner; grandchildren, Tracey and Brad Kindall, Casey and Faryal Parker, Andrew and Diane Parker, Matthew Feighner, and Emily Feighner; great grandchildren, Henry and Emma Kindall, Margo Kindall, Bernard Kindall, Max, Lily, Ella, Molly, and Phin Parker, Sawyer Meekhof; extended family and friends. Bob served in a CC camp in 1941 for one year. Bob served in the United States Navy from 1943-1946 during WWII. He served as a torpedoman at a submarine base at Oahu, Hawaii. He was a paid-for-life member of American Legion Post 459. He was the past president and life member of Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman Club. Bob’s family wishes to thank the staff of Spectrum Health Hospice particularly Toya, April, and Cathy for their love and care shown to Bob. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11 am at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr., Belmont, 49306 with Bruce Wilson officiating. Bob’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 6-8 pm at the funeral chapel and for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral chapel.
