Robert G. Edwards, Jr., age 87, of Grandville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time at the lake with his family. Bob was a former president of the Travelers Protective Association and enjoyed serving his community. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Bonnie, of 64 years; five boys, Steve and Connie Edwards, Bobby Edwards, Dave and Cindy Edwards, Phil and Pamela Edwards, Ken and Jennifer Edwards; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor James Winn officiating. Burial Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
