Uncle Rog was a great family man. He and Aunt June raised up a fine bunch and he came from terrific roots too. When I joined the Westveer family as a nephew inlaw 32 years ago I learned how similar the crazy family parties at Thanksgiving were. Loved that it has continued to the next generation. Always loved having a manhattan with him; talking about Falmouth and the Westveer heritage; always talking about transportation, either his Chevy suburban, or that he and his brother Butch were in trucking and my Dad a railroader; and lastly Uncle Rog always thinking that 75 miles an hour was fast and me feeling that was too slow! He will be missed, but we will keep it moving. God Bless him, Aunt June and the whole Westveer family.
