Sandra Schipper

Sandra Kay Schipper “Sandy”, age 69, passed away October 31, 2024, after a valiant fight against cancer. She is survived by the love of her life and her other half, Bill Rasmussen. Together they enjoyed 35 years of love and friendship. Golfing, fishing, and going to the casino were some of their favorite activities. Sandy was very creative, artistic, and fun to be with.  She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Bob Schipper; sisters, Beverly (Eric) Olson, Nancy (Dave) Doorlag; sister-in-law, Nina Schipper; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Bill’s daughter, Catherine, and son, Mitch; numerous friends who were like family to her including Bonnie and many others. Sandy was preceded in death by her brother, Bernie Schipper, and grandson, Nathan Thomet. She had a special place in her heart for her rescue dogs, Ace (who crossed the rainbow bridge) and now Louie who loved her fiercely. Per Sandy’s wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place.
