Mrs. Sprik without a doubt changed my life. As a student (class of ‘99) she taught me that even with a learning disability I can do anything I set my mind towards. She encouraged me to be the best me I could be. She showed me it didn’t matter what the bullies said but I know the truth of who I was and enjoy proving the bullies wrong.
Her encouragement in speech class has paid off with numerous public speaking events that I have hosted. And her words of encouragement are passed on the teens that I am now mentoring.
Because of her encouragement and believing in me when I needed it most I have become a successful adult and business owner with an after school program so I can impact teens lives they way she did mine.
May her great advice and loving spirit live on.
Thank you for caring the way to did Sue. You will be missed.

I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Sprik teach two of my high school classes. She was always brought a lot of energy to the classroom. She was also one of the most memorable and inspirational teachers I have ever had. When I took her speech class I never thought I could speak in public. But she was always encouraging and I did it. I have spoken at scientific symposiums and now give trainings to 100s of people. RIP Mrs. Sprik, you will be missed and you have touched many lives. My condolences to the family, you will be in my thoughts and prayers during this time.

I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Sprik as a teacher in high school. One of the things that she never tolerated was bullying, and that’s a good thing. She always stood up for the ones who were being bullied. I hope that a lot of people will live by that kind of example to put a stop to bullying whether if you were a friend or a “former student”. Notice I put former student in quotation marks because she would always reminisce about former students. She will be greatly missed. A great person and a great teacher. RIP Mrs. Sprik.
