Terrence Lee Dykstra

​Terrence Lee Dykstra, age 74, of Lowell passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Doris Dykstra; father-in-law, Edward Timmer; brother-in-law, Colin Wilson. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon; his children, Rebecca (Michael) Lippenga, Rachael (Timothy) Passarelli, Mark Dykstra; grandchildren, Tyler Lippenga, Aaron Lippenga, Noah Lippenga, and Brandon Lippenga; great grandson, Wesley Elhert; brothers and sisters, Pat Wilson, Phil (Sue) Dykstra, Bob (Sue) Dystra; mother-in-law, Jeannette Timmer; brothers and sisters in laws, Edwin (Kris) Timmer, Jerry (Marcia) Niewiek, Charlene Timmer; many nieces and nephews. Terry loved being outdoors doing activities like gardening and household projects. Terry could fix anything, and his relatives and friends would often call upon him to help fix things for them. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021, 2 pm at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, with Pastor Kenneth Klett officiating. Burial at Fort Custer Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 1-2 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Crossroads Prison Ministries.
