Thomas Alan Dolfin, age 72, of Grandville, Michigan, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 6, 2024. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda, his kids, Scott Dolfin, Lori (Adam) Bollier, his daughter-in-law, Heather Dolfin, his four grandsons, AJ, Luke, Daniel Bollier, Isaiah Dolfin, his siblings, Debra Deacon, Linda (Dean) Karbowski, Mary Dolfin, Dan Dolfin, many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Dolfin, Marilyn DeBruyn, and his son, Tim Dolfin. Tom will be remembered for his faith in Jesus, his love of Bible study, and his strong spirit. He was involved in his church and played the trumpet in the orchestra. He enjoyed cheering for his teams, which include the Detroit Tigers and the Michigan Wolverines, but he most enjoyed cheering on his grandsons in their various activities. Tom enjoyed his family, adored his wife, and liked visiting his kids and grandkids in Indianapolis. Tom appreciated a good burger, enjoyed playing cards, loved cars, and in his retirement, enjoyed spectating racing, which included the drag races with his daughter-in-law, Heather, and the Indianapolis 500 with his son- in-law, Adam. Tom will be greatly missed, but his family finds comfort that he is with Jesus and with his son, Tim, and family who have gone before him. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastors Rick and Vanessa Alvarez officiating.
