Tom and I go way back. His wife, Marianne, and I were in first grade together. Tom wasn't there because he went to the Catholic school. I probably met Tom for the first time in Cub Scouts, as his mother was our Den Mother. I have a lot of good memories of Tom and Marianne in school. In high school Tom was an excellent football player. We only had limited contact after graduation because we went our separate ways. I was happy to see that he still rooted for the best collegiate football team in the country, Ohio State. Tom is going to be missed.
