Virgie Loretta Ward

Virgie Ward, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Barbara (Jerry) Duron, and Kevin (Melissa) Ward; grandchildren, Felicia Duron, Cody (Jessica Pickerd) Duron, Sequoia Ward, Katana Ward; great grandchildren, Maurice, Lexi, Vivianah, Phoebe, Cody Jr; siblings, Helen (John) Hamblin and Sharon (Harold) Hamblin; in-laws, John Bancino, Larry (Joyce) Ward, Peggy (Bruce) Halloway, Judy (Terry) Cuperus, Christine Piersma, Deborah Krul, and Marcia Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ward; parents, John and Pearl Duley; siblings, Rosetta Bancino, Bill (Janet) Duley, Thelma (George) Hoffert, John (Marilyn) Duley, Ken (Carol) Duley; father and mother in-law, Hubert (Una) Ward; and brothers-in-law, Gary Ward and Craig Ward. Virgie enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She loved crafting, crocheting, cooking, quilting, gardening, and helping others. A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Monday, August 12, 2024, at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday, August 12, one hour prior to the funeral from 1-2pm.
