Willard Junior Ensing, age 85, of Allendale went to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Will was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the former owner of Ensing’s Auto Repair for 50 years. He was also an active member of the Allendale community by serving on the Allendale school board and volunteering at the fire department. He will be greatly missed for his love and dedication to his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, MaryAnn and grandson, Samuel Vander Wall. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Connie (David) Vander Wall, Diane (Chuck) Quick, Lisa (Rodney) Thiss, Joel (Beth) Ensing; grandchildren: Sara Ferguson, Ben (Sarah) Vander Wall, Andrew (Krysta) Quick, Lisa (Matthew) TerLaan, Michael (Amy) Quick, Jessica (Aaron) Dehn, Amanda (Justin) Turmell, Alexandra Thiss, Jack Ensing, Luke Ensing and Nicole Ensing; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Joey, Collin, Lucas, Kaatje, Eloise, Rory, Ewan, Anke, Casen and Mabel; sister, June Burt; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Ensing, Rosemary Chute, Sarah Riddering, Bonnie Sadler-Kruithoff, Lynne (Jim) Broene; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 6651 Scott Street, Allendale. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, March 11, 2022 from 2:30-4:30 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will take place at Allendale Township Cemetery.
