Willard Sweeris

​Willard Sweeris, age 88, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Preceding him in death are his parents, Clarence and Nell Sweeris; and brothers, Leslie and Kenneth Sweeris. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Joan; children, Lynn and Gary Kretz, Lori and Rick Folkertsma, Leanne Sweeris, Amy and Brad Sytsma; grandchildren, Adam and Megan Kretz, Sarah Kretz, Chad Folkertsma, Amanda and Tevontae Abraham, Abby, Ben, and Noah Sytsma; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Vander Ark, Joy and Rick Knurr; sister-in-law, Carol Hemmes; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Lee St. Christian Reformed Church, 1261 Lee St., Wyoming with Pastor Steve DeVries officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family 10-10:45 am prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
