William Patrick Cross

William Patrick Cross, age 88, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 3, 2024. He was born the youngest of nine siblings in Grand Rapids. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during Korean War, and a life member of the AMVETS Post 126, life member of the Wyoming Senior Center and the Wyoming Moose Lodge Post 763. He was known as a jokester, always kidding around with family and friends. He also enjoyed visiting casinos with his wife, Kathryn. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 15 years, Kathryn; step-children: Sandra Lefers, Lowell Lefers, Frederick (Jennifer Haverkamp) Lefers; 6 grandchildren; great grandchildren; sisters: Lois Osytek, Marge Melinn; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sisters. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 11 12:00 pm at Wyoming Moose Lodge, 2630 Burlingame Avenue SW, Wyoming. A luncheon will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AMVETS Post #126 or Moose Lodge Post 763.
