Carrie received her nurse training at Butterworth School of Nursing and spent 48 years as a RN with her last 38 years in the Emergency Department. She also enjoyed sharing her faith with both her peers, her patients and anyone else she ever met. Carrie received many awards voted on by both her peers and her patients. She was a member of West Cannon Baptist Church where she served in various ministries. She cherished her church family and loved worshiping with them. Carrie’s pride and joy were her family, especially her grandkids. A celebration of Carrie’s life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 4, 2020 at West Cannon Baptist Church, 5760 Cannonsburg Rd. Her family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at church.
