Marisol Rodriguez-Cuevas, age 60, of Grandville, formerly of Chicago, passed away at home and went to be with our blessed Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2025, surrounded by her family. Marisol worked many years at Speedway. She found joy in cooking heartful meals. Marisol’s enormous heart touched so many lovely people and her meals fed their souls. Marisol was a loving woman, who loved to care for her friends and family. Marisol, a faithful servant of God, leaves behind a legacy of love for her children, grandchildren and extended family. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Loving mother to Charlene Hernandez, Raymond Hernandez, Alyssa (Brian) Matos, Nicolette (Leon) Huynh; devoted grandmother to Kyanie, Jonathan, Jaedon, and Kaiden Brito, Gianni, Roman, Romeo and Alanzo Hernandez, Solimar and Noah Matos, Lorenzo, Luciano and Leandro Huynh; an amazing big sister to Andres Rodriguez Jr., Pastor (Miriam) Rodriguez, Lisette (Lino) Rodriguez-Villodas; a fond aunt to Nathaniel, Adam and Javian Villodas and many more beautiful nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andres Sr. and Luz Rodriguez. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025 at ResLife (Res Center Door E), 5100 Ivanrest Ave SW, Grandville. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 2-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, and also one hour prior at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grand Rapids First or Lacks Cancer Center of St. Mary’s Foundation.
