Anne Algra-Muizelaar

Anne Algra-Muizelaar, age 94, of Wyoming, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rinze Vellema, Gerben Algra, and Gerald Muzelaar; her son, Sidney Algra; and her granddaughter, Christina Algra. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her children, Florence and Ken Schumacker, Diana Algra, Richard and Sharon Algra, Kathy Algra (John Handlin), Jan and Craig Sackrison; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and several relatives in the Netherlands. Anne was born in Zwaagwesteinde, Friesland before immigrating to the United States in 1956. She and her family settled in Grand Rapids where they raised their family. She was blessed with an independent spirit and  strong work ethic, working at Koeze Gourmet Nuts for many years until she retired. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Rick VanderWall officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
