Betty VanDrunen

Betty Lena VanDrunen, age 95, of Jenison, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends from Beverly Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert VanDrunen Sr.; son-in-law, Larry Steenbergen; and grandchildren, Kelly Kopera, and Jeff Steenbergen. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Robert A. VanDrunen Jr., Rich VanDrunen, Ron and Anita VanDrunen, Joyce Steenbergen, Jan and Bill VanderZouwen; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dave Brower officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice.
