Carl Frederick Van Eeuwen

Carl Frederick VanEeuwen, age 83, of Jenison, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He proudly served his country in the National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, camping, hiking, fishing, and bowling. Fred enjoyed helping his neighbors and his community through watching sports, having coffee time, yard work, car repairs, and so much more. Fred will be remembered for his helpful hand and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Michael Lawrence, and Dwight Huyser. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen; children, Linda VanEeuwen, Deborah (VanEeuwen) McMahon; grandchildren, Jamae and Sam Kmak, James and Audrey McMahon, Sean McMahon; great-grandchildren, JaElla Kmak, Jedrick Kmak, Greyson McMahon, Sophie McMahon; sister, Judy Huyser; brother-in-law, Richard Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
