Cornelius Baas

Cornelius (Neal) Baas, age 97, of Grand Rapids, went home to Glory on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was a member of Bethany United Reformed Church for over 60 years and Neal was the owner of Photo Composition Service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Gertrude; grandson, Jason Hassevoort; brother, Clarence Baas. Surviving are his daughters, Barbra Hassevoort, and Debra Way; grandchildren, Eric Hassevoort, Stacey (Jody) Blomeling, Jodi Wolters; six great-grandchildren; extended family and many friends. Per Neal’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Bethany Christian Services, PO Box 294, Grand Rapids MI, 49501.
