Diana Sue Nelmark, just short of 70 years old, passed away in her home in Kentwood, Michigan on Monday April 4, 2022. Diana wished to be cremated and did not want a funeral. Her family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date. Diana was born April 29, 1952, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Elizabeth Jean Hastings and Ray Nelmark. She was the only daughter of five children. She had seven brothers all together, two preceding her in death. In her twenties, Diana gave birth to her two children and beat cancer twice. The second time was stage four, which she had while pregnant with her daughter. Diana battled with her health most of her life, but she was a survivor. Diana obtained a certificate from ITT Technical Institute in Wyoming, Michigan in the eighties. Family was always a priority to Diana, and she spent many years working with family running an in-home daycare in Wyoming, Michigan. Due to her time at the daycare, many know her as Aunt Dino. In her spare time, Diana loved to read and write. She spent any waking moment she could with her grandchildren. Diana had a love for bible studies and showed her love for Christ from a young age. She was recently baptized at Woodward Baptist Church in Byron Center, Michigan. Diana is survived by her two children, Franklin Farley (Melissa Bromm), and Elizabeth Kitchen (Richard Kitchen); her grandchildren, Jaklyn Brunk (Jason Brunk), Jaslyn Hatch (Scott Hatch), Ryan Farley, Johanna Farley, Jennifer Irwin (Jason Irwin), Daniel Kitchen (Marina Kitchen). She had eleven great-grandchildren.
