Diane Goodfellow

Diane Lynn (Harmsen) Goodfellow, age 64, of Rockford, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister who treasured her family. She was blessed with the gift of hospitality and serving others. Even through her health challenges over the years, she always put others before herself and desired to make time for everyone. She was a great cook, making many delicious meals for her family and friends. Diane had a creative spirit and enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. There was never a project that she wouldn’t try to do. Over the years, many family trips and great memories were made up north with family and friends on the boat. She was preceded by her death by her father, Jack Harmsen; sisters, Beth Anne Harmsen, Cheryl Feyen; and parents-in-law, James Sr. and Jeri Goodfellow. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 28 years, Jim Goodfellow; children, Mike Goodfellow, Wendy and Todd Lenon, Jesse and Nichole Lubberts, Ashley Hoekstra, Skyler and Drew Chrisman; grandchildren, Trevor, Anthony, Andrew, Austin, Kylie, Alora, Reese, Sean, Kennedy, Sadie; her mother, Nancy Harmsen; siblings, Greg and Barb Harmsen, Jack and Cara Harmsen, Maribeth and Bill Tanis, Scott and Brooke Harmsen, Al and Carol Feyen; many loving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Rev. Harold Veldman officiating. The burial will take place at Courtland Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, July 31, from 2-5 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and also from 10-10:45 a.m. on Monday prior to the service at the church.
