Dianne Lemke

Dianne Lemke, age 71, of Jenison, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Dianne was a loving woman and a dear friend with a great sense of humor. She loved music, reading, spending time with friends, especially going to the casino with them, but above all she loved her family. She also loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and spoiling them whenever she could. The family would like to thank Faith Hospice, Georgetown Cambridge Manor, and the University of Michigan Metro Health West for their tender love and care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lemke; parents, Vernon and Donna Babcock; and her brother, Dan Babcock. Dianne will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shane (Angela) Lemke, Jamie (Megan) Lemke, Caitlin (Randy) Mahar; grandchildren, Dakota, Haleigh, Everett; and her siblings Michael Babcock, John Babcock, Jane (Mike) Anstett, Jim (Melissa) Babcock; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St. SW with Fr. Phong Pham officiating. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, March 14 from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
