Dolores Mancilla

Dolores Mancilla, age 78, of West Olive, was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dolores loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her time spent in the sun out gardening. She also enjoyed traveling and spent time going to her winter homes in Mexico and Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Domitila Florez; daughter, Frances Ortiz; sister, Pauline Garcia; brothers, Samuel Flores, and Lorence Flores. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of over 60 years, Jose E. Manicilla; children, James and Rhonda Mancilla, Maria Espinoza, Dalfina and James Storm, Joe Mancilla, Adam Mancilla; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maria Rios, Connie Fierros; sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 20, 2023 at St. Luke University Parish, 10144 42nd Ave., Allendale, with Fr. Rob Mulderink officiating. Burial Robinson Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
