Gertrude Timmer

Gertrude “Gert” F. Timmer, age 88, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johannes. Gert is lovingly remembered by her children, Denise and Cecil Lambers, Jim and Julie Timmer, Bob and Marti Timmer; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, John (Gracia) DeBruin; sisters-in-law, Bea Fender, and Marge Albert; extended family and friends. Gert loved her family and spending time singing, cross-stitching, and crafting. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Ed Visser officiating. Burial Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
