John Ignatius Reidzans

John Ignatius Reidzans, age 83, of Greenville, is now walking with Jesus as of Thursday, July 14, 2022. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. John radiated the joy of the Lord. He was a generous, loving man that would drop everything to help others and share whatever he had. His faith in Christ gave him such joy which was a reflection of his selflessness. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Most people knew him as an avid Nascar fan. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Ruth; children: Lisa and Michael McEldowney, Dave and Stacey Reidzans, Jan and William Bennett, Ron and Katie Reidzans, Tim and Crystal Reidzans; grandchildren: Chelsea and Aaron Cornell, Austin and Nikki Bennett, Jared and Monica Bennett, Kami Bennett, Ally Reidzans, Nick and Ryleigh Reidzans, Karley, Brookelyn, Seth Reidzans, Isaiah and Ezekiel Reidzans, Jeremy and Catherine Smith, Marcus Dumas, Odin Gollannek, Willem Gollannek; 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Mary, Malvina, Annie, Sue; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jim Reidzans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday , July 19, 2022 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming with a vigil service Monday at 6 p.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Tunnels to Towers (https://t2t.org/donate/)
