Jose Vera

Jose Alberto Vera, age 95, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his son, Luis Alberto Vera; parents, Maria Isabel Vera and Andres Malave; brother, Jaime Vera; sisters, Rosita Vera, Baudia Vera. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Adelaida; children, Jose Eliud Vera, Jimmy (Juanita) Vera, Rosita Vera (Ezequiel Rodriguez), Carmen Maria Vera, David Vera; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carmen Vera; extended family and friends. Jose was a Godly man, reading and studying the Word of God. He was also gifted at composing and singing his original songs. The family will hold a private graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
