March 16, 2023

Joseph S. Stadler, age 31, was called home to be with Jesus on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Affectionately known as “JoJo”, he was blessed with a great sense of humor and a caring heart. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether hiking in Colorado, fishing, skateboarding, or riding dirt bikes, he always had a zest for adventure. Joe worked as a forest firefighter and traveled all over the country battling many fires. It gave him great joy to give back and protect others. Even though his life here on earth was too short, his memory will be forever treasured in our hearts. He will be greatly missed by his children, Myles and Mycah; father, Scott (Missy Miedema) Stadler; mother and stepfather, Vicky and Mark Perreault; siblings, Nick Stadler (Ashley), Sarah (Hunter) Stadler; grandmother, Judy Larson; and many loving extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol and Bob Hargraves, Wayne Stadler, Richard and Mary Williams. A service to celebrate Joe’s life will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 3089 84th St SW, Byron Center, with Pastor Kevin Van Wyhe officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends by the River Ministry, ℅ Heritage Christian Reformed Church.
