Laura Jones

Laura Jones (Yoder), age 60, of Holland, has fought the good fight, kept the faith, finished her race and ran into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Laura was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was a friend and faithful prayer partner to many. Laura’s legacy of faith was an example to all who knew her. Over the years she actively served her Lord with her time and talents in many ways. Laura established long lasting relationships mentoring many kids as a youth group leader and was involved in the community. She enjoyed beaches, sunsets, running, and anything outdoors. She will be greatly missed, but we are comforted knowing that she is home at peace with her Savior, and one day we will all be together again. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Yoder; and her father-in-law, Rev. W.C. Jones. Laura is lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, Brian; children, Sarah (Lane and Michael) Carey, Joshua (Jessie) Jones, Rachael Jones, Benjamin Jones; grandchildren, Riley and Cassidy; father, Terry Yoder; siblings, Greg and Ann Yoder, Beth and Jeff Frank; mother-in-law, Glenda Jones; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Steven and Dee Jones, Jeffrey and Pam Jones, Susan and Eric Hobson; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 1 pm at Life Stream Church, 6561 Lake Michigan Dr., Allendale. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Keys for Kids Ministries.
