Timmie Foster

Timmie Jay Foster, age 62, of Grand Rapids, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Timmie was a kind and loving dad and papa who always put others before himself. He was always there supporting every family activity that the kids and grandchildren were involved with. He was blessed with a strong work ethic, working at Hadley Products and Fabory for 25 years where he established many lifelong friendships. Timmie enjoyed his Michigan Wolverine sports and was their biggest fan. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying traveling and especially spending time at the cottage at Bill’s Lake and fishing. Above all, his faith and his investment in family relationships will be forever cherished. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Alberta Foster. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, April and Jay Alejos; grandchildren, Melina and Rianna Alejos; brothers, Terry and Julie Foster, Todd and Mari Foster; nephew, Roger and Brenna Foster; nieces, Hazel (Foster) and Johnny Bowyer, Kristi and Mitch Robinson; and one great-niece and several great-nephews. A service to celebrate Timmie’s life will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. The burial will take place at Idlewild Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation or Emmanuel Hospice.
