William Rathbun, Jr.

William (Bill) H. Rathbun, Jr., age 84, of Jenison, husband of Marilyn Rathbun, entered the glorious presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 28, 2024. He worked at St. Mary’s Hospital for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Rathbun; and parents-in-law, Thomas and Barbara Hammond. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Marilyn; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Percy Crothers; brothers-in-law, Tom Hammond, Steve Hammond, Rick Hammond; sister-in-law, Nancy and Rev. Robert Regan; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, Feb 10, 2024 at Plainfield Baptist Church, 1750 Woodworth St. NE, Grand Rapids. An hour of visitation will be held prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Plainfield Baptist Church or The Parkinson’s Foundation.
